Pharo nailed it. We know the y-axis is represented by x=0, so for a line to be parallel, it must also have a constant x value. S1 directly tells us that, so it is sufficient. S2 tells us that each point on the line has an x-value of 4, so the equation of the line must be x=4 (as in S1). Thus, we go with D.
