Hi everyone,

I just found this site, and its awesome! So much good info, I'm so fortuante to have found it.

I had a quick question regarding the MBA application. My top choice program has an application deadline of 5/1. I haven't taken the GMAT yet, but would like at least 2 months to study, which would put me at around a 4/25 test date. Obviously, the school wouldn't get the official report before 5/1.

My question is, do most schools need an official GMAT score report by the application deadline, or will they still accept it before receiving this and update it later.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Dear thisisbrianly:

Schools vary on whether or not the official GMAT scores need to be received by the application deadline. You need to contact the admissions office and find out the policy for that school. It is possible you will be fine as long as everything else is in by 5/1 and you fax or email the unofficial score report.

Good luck!
