Getting better at number properties

by Rastis » Sat Apr 14, 2012 5:16 pm
Can anyone suggest some sound advice for mastering these concepts? Whenever I see a question regarding number properties and see the letters "a", "b" or "c" I start freaking out and get confused right off the bat. Obviously, as a result, I struggle with DS questions.

Number properties is a pretty large topic area, as are questions with variables. Can you be more specific?

Just being able to recognize what to do with data sufficiency questions and setting up equations in PS (x-y/z, for example). It's hard to be specific since i am having trouble with all of it.
