Having logged thousands of hours watching primates from chimpanzees to macaques,
chimps and other primates are no longer thought to be natural-born killers by Dr.
Swenson, they
are attuned to peacemaking.

B. Dr. Swenson has come to believe that far from being natural-born killers, chimps
and other primates

C. Dr. Swenson has now the belief that far from being natural-born killers, chimps
and other primates

D. chimps and other primates are not longer thought to be natural-born killers by Dr.
Swenson, they

E. chimps and other primates are no more thought to be natural-born killers by Dr.
Swenson, they

B or C???

B is certainly a better option than C for the following reasons:
1. 'has come to believe that' in option B clearly brings out the intended meaning that Dr Swenson came to this conclusion on the basis of his hours of watching these animals. 'has now the belief that' in option C does not provide as strong a connector between these two.
2. The construction 'has now the belief that' is very awkward. The right way to write this would be 'now has the belief that'
