Hey I was wondering whether I would be a successful candidate for Stern's Langone program this fall.
Here's my profile:
Major: Electrical Engineering
Degree(s): BS/MS (dual degree)
GPA: combined ... 3.36 (that's the "official" bs/ms gpa ... there's not a separate one for each)
Extracurricular Activities: community service in local hospital for 3 months (freshmen yr), volunteered at 2 robotics competitions, member of VOICE and DISHA (multicultural organizations), participated in 3 intramural table tennis contests, showed initiative to start a table tennis club, member of the Penoni Honors College (graduated with honors), member of IEEE, and I also led my senior design team.
Work Experience: graduated in 2008 ... working since July. Have 2 internships as well.
GMAT: taking it in mid march ... any target score that you would suggest, provided that the rest of the application is immaculate?
Also, if I get one of your comprehensive packages, do I have to meet up with the head consultant in person? Or is it strictly over the phone?
Thanks a lot.
