Hello ,
I am very new to gmat(few days old).I went through the gmatprep test to find out my weak and strong areas.Being from non english speaking country it was obvious verbal.I scored following on my gmatprep test without having read any books 580(Q-48,V-22). I tried to find out the topics on verbal topics where i went wrong .The following were the results i found out(SC-4/16,RC-10/14,CR-8/11) correct answers. Now since it is obvious my weakest part is SC.I need help so that i can improve my grammar skills from very beginning.I know manhattan SC is really good but for that i need to know the basics as well(Even if its not pertaining to gmat its ok but should cover the basics for getting a good grip on verbal on gmat). So I want to know a book which starts from very basic of verbal grammar .Also please let me know some advanced quants books for getting score close to 50 or to maintain the score which i got in practise test.
