Need to Improve a 730

I scored a 730 on the GMAT while in undergrad, but that score is now 5 years old as I am applying to B schools. I did a couple of practice tests before taking that test, but nothing major. Since I have to retake the test due to the age of my score, I'd like to put some extra prep time in and, if possible, score closer to a 760. However, I don't want to waste time (or money) reviewing the "basics." Any suggestions for prep strategies, classes, materials? I've already purchased the Kaplan GMAT800 book.

Thank you!

I would avoid classes, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't practice. There is a big difference between 730 and 760 (even though the numbers seem close) so you probably want to go through material even though some of it will be review.

One resource I recommend is the GMAT Prepster Quant Guide (full disclosure: I did write it)

You might as well see how you do first, and then decide what resources you'll. It may be the case that you're already scoring above your target score, in which case you may not need to prepare at all. Or it may be the case that your Verbal score is perfect, and you just need some work with math. Or ....
