In the xy-coordinate plane, is point R equidistant from point (-3,-3) and (1, -3)?
1)The x-coordinate of point R is -1
2)Point R lies in the line y=-3
[NOTE: I have GMAT way of answer, but another approach would be appreciated. I didn't quite understand the answer on the GMAT book.]
