u^2 = k*w^3 ( directly proportional)

8^2 = k*8^3

solving this k=1/8

So, 27^2 = 1/8*w^3

3^3*3^3*2^3=w^3

So w= 18

Please confirm OA?

u and w are proportioned as follows:
(u�)²/(w�)³ = (u₂)²/(w₂)³.

Plugging in u�=8, w�=8, and u₂=27, we get:

8²/8³ = 27²/(w₂)³

1/8 = 27²/(w₂)³

(w₂)³ = (27²)(8)

(w₂)³ = 3�2³

w₂ = (3�2³)^(1/3) = (3²)(2) = 18.

The correct answer is C.
