For total surface area, u will need the value of all sides:

TSA = 2 (lxb + bxh + lxh)

IMO ans is A

if 2 sides given third side can be found by means of right-triangle .

if 2 sides given stmt 2 becomes redundant.

The third side is the diagonal distance which you will find using Pythagoras theorem. It need not necessarily be a width, length or height.

Let me know your thoughts

using B
lbh= 80=> thord side = 80/5*8 = 2

Then by Sunstituting in TSA = 2 (lxb + bxh + lxh) we get the result.

Answer should be C
A gives us the information about two of the 6 sides of the surface
B --> info about another two of the sides and height of the box

So, V=bwh
5*8*h=80; h=2
Surface area=2(40+10+16)=132

Actually the way I visualize it :

have a top view of the solid. You get to see the diagonal whose two sides are given by stmt 1.

now this diagonal, length and height is another right angle from where you get the height.

Its difficult to visualize, but I think in solid plane that is how the figure is constructed.
