Dear Stacy/Amy,
I would like to have your suggestions.
I am still not sure about applying for 1st round (beginning of October) or 2nd round for HBS/Stanford.
1. I had to postpone many times GMAT test because of my work schedule. I plan now to take it end of September
2. If I apply on 2nd round, I will probably not have higher score on GMAT (because I hope that it will be OK the first time), but I will probably have more time to prepare for essays, and work more on my profile and some projects I would like to finish (community work + project of small commercial website). Will these give me more advantages if I wait to finish them until end of the year for second round?
3. I already speak fluently 3 languages, and I plan to start and work hard on learning a new language (Spanish) until the end of the year, is-it worth it that I wait 2nd round to include this new language in my profile?
4. Moreover, I have heard that it is better to apply in early round for scholarship and other kind of fellowships and financial aids. Is it still going to be OK if I apply in 2nd round?
I have read many articles about applying in 1st or 2nd round, and I understand that both are equivalent. But for my case, what would be your idea?
Thanks in advance again for your so precious help.
Regards.
