What would be the correct idiom in the following cases:

Invitation (of/for/to).
Inevitable (for/of/to...)
Like I said OR As I said.

After "Like", you should use only a noun or a noun phrase. A clause after "like" is wrong. But after "as" you can use either a clause or a noun.

Like I said [Wrong]

As I said [Correct]
