The company claimed to have created a backpack so capacious that it could simultaneously hold four textbooks, a laptop computer, and necessary school supplies and so light and well-designed that even a seventh-grader could wear it comfortably.
1.supplies and so light
2.supplies so light
3.supplies, and it was so light
4.supplies, yet being so light
5.supplies, yet so light
OA:5
My issues:
I am convinced that the correct choice is either 4 or 5.
I like 4 more because, the part after yet needs a working verb, which is being in 4.
5 on the other hand lacks that working verb.
The explanation to this question, choses 5 and says that being is unnecessary. I don't understand that how ?
Can somebody figure this out ?
