The boys AND EVERY girl have.... (wrong)
"Both boys and girls have" would be more precise.
Every girl - means all girls and girls in common!

Please correct me if i am wrong.

thx
sentence doesn't maintain parallelism between the boys & every girl...........sentence would have been better if it would have been written in the following manner

the boys and the girls have
both the boys and the girls have

every points to each individual not to a bunch

for example: every individual is playing football..........[correct]
every individual are playing football [incorrect]
