Rolling admissions for HEC Paris

by vaibhav.iit2002 » Fri Dec 04, 2009 10:12 pm
Hi,

I have a doubt about rolling admissions. As univ. with Rolling admissions policy review applications on a regular basis, what is the exact meaning of DEADLINE?
HEC Paris has second deadline as 05-Jan '10 and third as 02-Feb '10. It hardly matters for them if an application is submitted on 05-Jan or 06-Jan, as they'll start reviewing applications immediately so what exactly is meant by different deadlines here?

Plz explain as I am applying to HEC Paris for class of 2010.

Thanks

They will review your application as soon as they receive it, provided you submit all supporting documents. Unlike with set deadline, rolling admissions means that they review applications as they receive them as opposed to wait until the deadline when all applications are received and then start reviewing them. I think this is how it works.

Hi,

This is a good question. Why does HEC set deadlines if they have rolling admissions? Is it so that they can set deadlines for the decision dates?
