GMAT score disclosure

by Elin » Sun Aug 10, 2008 4:53 pm
Hi Lisa,
I am confused about the disclosure policy of the GMAT score.
Will the schools see all my previous scores, even when I choose not to report it the first time?

Thanks

Dear Elin,

The official score report the schools receive is for the test date you requested to send. For example, if you take the GMAT on August 10, you can either send the score to 1-5 schools at the time of the test OR request for the August 10 test scores to be sent to schools at a later time. The score report shows the raw scores and percentiles for the quantitative, verbal and AWA sections. It also hows what you wrote for your AWA.

However, if you have taken the GMAT prior to August 10 (but within 5 years), then the previous 2 test scores will also be listed on the score report. These previous test dates will only show the raw scores and percentiles, but not what you wrote for your AWA. For example, if you took the test in June 2008, December 2007 and July 2007, then your score report for the August 10, 2008 test date will also show the June 2008 and December 2007 scores.

Regards,
Lisa
