Diagnostic Test Scores (Attempt 1)

by abhijitmaity » Thu Mar 28, 2013 4:38 am
Hello,

I have started preparing for GMAT with 60 days plan from "Beat The GMAT". I just took the Diagnostic Test for Quantitative Section and received a shock. I have scored just (9 out of 24) in Problem Solving & (7 out of 24) in Data Sufficiency in my First Attempt. Is this a normal thing when starting GMAT preparations after a long gap..? I am bit depressed. Kindly advice how to proceed further. I have decided to place my full faith on 60days plan and study accordingly. Please advice...

Thanks a lot :-)

Don't worry too much about the diagnostic test (taken on Day 2 of the 60-Day Study Guide). It's meant to familiarize you with the types of questions found on the GMAT and give you a very approximate idea of your current skills.

You will retake this test later on to help gauge your progress.

Remember that you're on Day 2, so I wouldn't dwell too much on the results of this test.

Cheers,
Brent
