Hi guys,
I’m new to this forum and I would really appreciate any advice on the following:
I just passed the GMAT exam and my score was so bad that I couldn’t believe it. I studied for some months, aiming to score 600 to 700 points. In GMAT practice exams my scores were between 500-600 and in the real exam I got 400. It is possible that stress, fatigue, distraction or something else made me score so low. Although I’m confident to score more than 400 and 500 points, my goal is to have 680 or more on the GMAT.
Next month I’m planning to retake the exam. I feel comfortable with the quantitative section and I believe I could still improve. On the other hand, the verbal section is really my weak point.
-Can any one tell me which books are good for the verbal section?
-Since I’ve been studying for some months with the same books, should I change the study books or stick with them?
-Any advice on how to get the 680 target?
Many thanks
