kaplan test

Hi All,

I purchased Kaplan's GMAT Premier Live Online, 2010 Edition book. Along with the book comes the online access to kaplan gmat resources and practice tests. I want to know whether these are the only tests that Kaplan offers or there are other practice tests as well.

Why I am asking this question is because I have seen in past , in general, that Kaplan scores have been poor for all students. However, when I took test online on Kaplan site I found Quantitative very easy ( little easier than GMATPrep) and Verbal is comparable.

Please let me know if there are other tests that Kaplan company is running.

I have an older version of the kaplan book, which comes with a CD. Those tests are DIFFICULT! If you get a 620 in those, you're pretty much set for a 750 on the real exam.
However, when I took test online on Kaplan site I found Quantitative very easy ( little easier than GMATPrep) and Verbal is comparable.
They must have changed the exam structure after all the issues with the scoring structure.
Is caught between a rock and a hard place!

While most people do tend to get lower scores on the Kaplan tests, it's probably a better idea to use the GMATPrep tests to give you an idea of where your score stands.

dan,
A good suggestion indeed, but I have exhausted GMATPrep and getting inflated scores. Last time I gave GMATPrep2 I got 770 that is more than I can even imagine. I know my prep level stands somewhere b/w 670-710. Even I scored in the same range in MGMAT. So, I just thought of giving Kaplan but it seems Quant is too easy here, however, verbal is not so easy.

I have my test in 2-3 weeks. any other suggestion that you would like to give me. ?

Have you used the Powerprep software? It's a bit older, and some of the questions overlap with OG, but still good questions. If you don't see any questions that you already new it's a pretty good indicator of your score as well
