The word "and" is being used to link two actions. The first is "have exposed", so the second, which is underlined, must parallel that form.

A and E use present tense verbs, which does not match the present perfect of the first action.

C does not give us a conjugated verb.

B and D both use present perfect, but D has an agreement error. What has provided the opportunity? The excavations, so it should be "have provided."

B works: have (exposed) and (given)
