Hello,
I had a interview with UNC KF 2 days back. In my interview they ask a question what my brother do and I told he is finanacial consultant. It seems he got an impression I am from very rich family. Does that effects my scholarship which I could get ?

Hi Ashu,

I know that money is a huge concern of many students (It definitely was for me), so I covered all my bases and just called Kenan-Flagler Admissions Office to make sure and they reassured me that their fellowships are merit-based--not need-based, so you are just fine.

Your rich (or not-so-rich) brother is not going to help or hinder you when it comes to receiving financial aid.

Congrats on completing your interview!

Hello Kaneisha,
Thanks a lot for the reply. Your reply did help to ease my stress.
And I hope UNC KF do as what they say.
