Hi everyone,
I'm aiming to pursue a Master in Finance in 2018. Since many application deadlines are just around the corner, appreciate if you can give me some advice as to my chances for the below schools:
- Oxford MSc in Mathematical Finance
- Cambridge Master in Finance
- LSE Master in Finance / Finance and Economics
- MIT Master in Finance
Snapshots of my credentials:
- GPA: 3.66/4.00 (dual bachelor's degree in accountancy and finance from one of Singapore's top 3 university)
- GRE: 331 (V:161, Q:169, W:4.5)
- GMAT: Test date is in December, targeted score >730
- Work experience by 2018: 2 years in asset management risk and control functions in a BB bank
- Internship experience: 3 months financial services Big 4 audit; 3 months internal strategy consulting internship in a multinational hospitality firm
- Others: Passed CFA level 1
- Concerns: Limited coursework on mathematics and programming in university
