Graduation: B Tech (CSE) - 77%
12th - 83%
Total Experience: 9 Years
Current Employer - Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) [3.5 Years]
Current Work Profile: Working as Technology and Functional Specialist in Anti Money Laundering department (AML) of RBS. My work includes providing consultation to the Business on AML systems and processes, liaison with AML Operations to refine and update the existing AML systems, working with and supporting third party vendors like infosys, TCS, etc to complete various projects. Although my job family is technology, I really work as a subject matter expert for AML. Depending upon project, I lead anywhere from 2 to 8 people.
Previous Employers - CSC [3.5 Years] & Satyam [2 Years]
Past Work Profile: Typical IT work, design, development for clients like Nortel, GE, GSK.
International Exposure: US - 6 Months for Nortel, UK - 2 Months each for GE and GSK
Extra Activities:
- Started a small IT company with a friend, we mostly do small software projects in the range of few thousand dollars. Right now we are getting most work by bidding on various platforms and by our personal networking, and most of that work comes from Australia. We have team of 15 folks.
- Providing Industry Inputs to one of the Engineering college to better shape graduates for placements.
I know I belong to the over represented demography of Indian IT Male, but have some differentiators. what are my chances of cracking the US Top 20 ?
