Hello,

Request you to kindly help me narrow down my colleges for fall 2014.

My profile is as follows:

GMAT - 690

Undergrad GPA - BE Hons. (Mechanical Engineering): 8.0/10 (Top 10 colleges of India)

Work ex.(by the time i join college)- 3.5 Years

Work ex. break up - Includes 1 year of entrepreneurial experience - started up a youth magazine publishing company right after under graduation. The magazine ran for six editions but we had to quit coz of financial troubles. Past 2 years have been working as a sales and marketing executive for a energy major in India (have been promoted once)

Good Extracurriculars, and decent community service involvement.

Want to pursue MBA in Marketing.

Will Kelley, McCombs, Emory, Schulich, Rotman, Kenan Flager be within reach?

Thanks for sharing your profile. Your stats you have shared would likely give you a shot at the programs you mentioned. Just keep in mind that the decision is not solely based on stats and GPA; the decision is a holistic one based upon all of the factors in your application and your explanation of why you want an MBA and how it will help you reach your career goals, and what you'll contribute to the program. If you can create compelling essays to convey those points you will have a chance. I encourage you to spend quite a bit of time on the essays and application.
