confused what's the source...

IMO if Rice / Wheat if are considered a part of utilizing crops then the answer should be Op C.

Though i do believe in context of this question that Rice and Wheat is shown as a part of utilizing crops only and hence Op C has to be the answer.

What's the OA???

[B/C are the only contenders]
Rice is a crop, wheat is a crop.. Rice and wheat are crops...
Now I can see utilizing crops... it has to be rice and wheat combined...

+1 for Atul

Hi,

After looking at the question again, i feel that in Op C a comma is missing after WHEAT...means Op C has to be written in this way:

Fermented beverages evolved independently in nearly all of the world' agrarian societies, utilizing crops, rice and wheat,(this is the missing comma) and even root crops as local conditions necessitated.

In that case even Op B can be correct if, as i said earlier, RICE and WHEAT are not the part of utilizing crops....

Whats the OA and source....please reveal???? I'm curious to know, is this question is from some standard resource???
