I took my GMAT exam on Friday Dec 9 at 3:45pm at the Brooklyn Pearson Vue test center. Because of a region system shutdown of the Pearson GMAT system, the test administrator was unable to log me back into my exam after my 8 minute break to take the verbal section. I finished the AWA, IR, and Quant sections. I was extremely worried when I was notified by the test center administrator that she could not log me back in because I know that I did well on my Quant section. She reassured me by telling me that I could schedule a time to come in and finish the exam by taking only the verbal section. She told me that my previous sections had been saved and that I didn't have to worry about losing those scores. I am trying to contact GMAC however am unable to speak to any representative because I am being put on hold for an excessive amount of time. It would be outrageous for me to have to retake the entire exam over again because I am positive that I did well on my Quant section and this attempt was my third attempt at the exam. I specifically chose December 9th and that specific time because it was the most ideal time for me to take the exam. I am currently a senior in college and have to take final exams and do multiple projects as well as finish all my graduate school applications. To have to take an entire exam again and lose my quant score would be devastating for me. The fact that the Pearson system shut down during my exam should not have to put me at a disadvantage. Please contact me as soon as possible, as I cannot reach any representative over the phone or e-mail. This situation is extremely stressful and the GMAT should offer me a fair assessment.
