Deciding Between Ross and Darden

by Deciding11 » Wed May 18, 2011 5:30 am
Hi all - I was accepted into both Ross and Darden and would love to hear your expert thoughts on which to attend. Post-MBA goal is to go into CPG marketing. Ross has an edge in placement in this area, but Darden's case method may better prepare me down the road. Most other factors are a toss up: great people, great towns, great facilities. What do you all think?

Go for University of Virginia - Darden school of Business either Blacksburg or Charlottesville campus. Virginia is a fantastic place to live but if you know how to live. The weather, the people and the cities all are awesome but you are dependent on public transportation then you would not enjoy as much as if you drive.

I'm assuming OP has already decided on his/her school of choice at this point, but fyi, Darden School of Business is part of the University of Virginia located in Charlottesville. There is NO Blacksburg campus; what you are thinking of is Virginia Tech that's located there.
