Plug in some values of x to find the value of n and get the pattern....


Let x be 0

Then ,

2^x+2^x+2^x+2^x = 2^n

2^0+2^0+2^0+2^0 = 2^2

So n = 2 ; when x = 0


Let x be 1

Then ,

2^x+2^x+2^x+2^x = 2^n

2^1+2^1+2^1+2^1 = 2^3

So n = 3 ; when x is 1


Now U can easily derive the pattern ,

n = x + 2

or x = n - 2.
