(A) of drug dependency and others' prejudicial treatment as well.
(B) both of drug dependency and also of prejudicial treatment.
(C) both of drug dependency and also from prejudicial treatment.
(D) both of drug dependency but also from prejudicial treatment.
(E) both of drug dependency and of prejudicial treatment as well.


The Key says that the answer is E

but both and as well kind of sound redundant to me (i chose A for that reason)

Answer choices (B), (C) & (D) shows incorrect use of idioms. Hence Eliminated

Answer choice (E) has correct parallel construction. Hence I pick (E)

You have to have both "ofs" because of parallism. "Both X and Y" is an idiom. Whenever a prepositional word is used to begin a phrase that has to be in parallel construction, then the other phrase has to begin with a preposition as well.
