The problem with C is the wrong structure and it changes the meaning. It says as if there were two categories of speakers - artists and industrial designer. Moreover the artists are the objects of the sentence and whom should be the right usage as it is available in B.

When the modifying noun is an object of the sentence, then WHOM need to be used.

As in B, you can see

modifying noun - industrial engineer....and it is the object of the sentence..
