If 338c = r^2 , and c is the smallest positive integer such that r is an integer, then r must be:

(A) 2
(B) 13
(C) 26
(D) 52
(E) 104

In this question answer is B because 338 = 13*13*2
to make it a square we need to multiply by 2

Now, if the question were 338c = r^3 etc etc .. Please see this link
