Dear Nihar,

For most schools, you will need to meet the requirement of having a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. You noted you are a non-graduate, but did not say if you are planning to complete the degree prior to applying to business school. Without the degree, I don't think you will find many options that will consider you eligible for their MBA program. Perhaps others reading this forum are aware of MBA programs that do not require a bachelor's degree equivalent?

Good luck,
Lisa

Hi Lisa / Experts,
Thanks for your reply . No I've no plans of doing a bachelors degree now . Most UK schools including that of LBS category allow non-graduates to apply provided they have substantial experience that proves a consistent growth and high level of responsibility .

I'd shortlisted schools (In order of preference) as below but as they are too many and thats where I need help . The ordering is based on - 1. Average GMAT 2. Average work exterience 3. Focus on strategy/consulting 4. Ranking (FT/Economist) .. I need to narrow it down to 4 at the maximum .
1. Warwick
2. Cranfield
3. Cass
4. Ashridge
5. Triinity -Ireland
6. Manchester
7. Otago MBA- NewZealand
8. Cambridge - Dream school

Let me know your thoughts .

Hi Nihar

Thanks for considering an Otago MBA in New Zealand. I noticed your post and had a discussion with our Recruitment Co-ordinator, Sarah, about our entry requirements. Unfortunately, as Lisa suspects, our position is that all students must have an undergraduate degree. Any applicant without an undergraduate degree is unlikely to be admitted into the Programme. However, you can have an IM chat with Sarah on Skype (username: otago.mba), email her on [email protected] or visit our website at www.otagomba.co.nz for more information about Otago MBA and our entry requirements.

Thanks again and good luck with your search.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for your reply . It might be possible that I misunderstood the entry requirements as mentioned here -https://www.otagomba.co.nz/entry_requirements . Does not it mention that a bahelor degree or equivalent proven experience or other qualification ?

Hi again Nihar

You are quite right. I have had a further chat with Sarah to clarify this and she has confirmed that while such cases are rare, it is possible to be admitted without an undergraduate degree. The key consideration in such cases is the nature of their experience. There would be a need for such experience to have a strong managerial component.

The best recommendation I can make is that you go ahead and apply. It is easy to apply, you just have to submit your resume on the website and there is no application fee, so you have nothing to lose!

Apologies for the confusion. But I hope this helps.

Cheers
Nathan
