I heard that we will need to choose B-SCHOOLS for which we intend to send our scores!

1.Is is done before the test or after the test?
2.How much of an impact does it have for admission?
For example, say i wish to join XYZ university and i am sure that my marks will not make much an impression, but my application does, by simply sending the scores to the B-SCHOOLS wont affect my admission??
3. How many schools are we supposed to select?

Thanks

can only answer this.
U send 5 alongside. It doesn't have any difference, just for after 5 u need to pay an extra amount.
Rest, looking for answers myself! :)

i need to add one more question.
4) do we need to remember the GMAT codes which we will fill at the center?
If OA is A, IMO B
If OA is B, IMO C
If OA is C, IMO D
If OA is D, IMO E
If OA is E, IMO A

FML!! :/

Answers
1) Before the test.
2) Not sure what you mean by this. GMAT Score reporting is mandatory for many schools. You need to do this while applying anyways. Reporting to each school costs you $25 (I think) per school. This is simply an opportunity for you to apply to 5 schools free of cost.
3) 5 schools

And to answer Vaibhav's question -
4) No need to remember the codes. The software has a robust search algorithm.

Cheers!

Well, yeah!
Like I said, the search algo is quite good.
So, if you type 'Texas' in the search box, the software returns all colleges (along with the B school courses) that have the name Texas in them.
So if you're looking for TAMU Full time MBA, then you'll select the one with Texas A&M FT MBA.

It's really quite simple. No big deal. so don't worry about the process. :)

Cheers!

One more question. Is there a max time limit to putting the colleges and courses in?
