1. in 95 k salary was 2000 > than j
2. in 98 k salary was 2440 > than j

let salaries in 95 be j,k
thus in 98 salaries are (1 + p/100)j , (1 + p/100)k
a)k=2000+j
insufficient.
b)(1 + p/100)k = 2440 + (1 + p/100)j
insufficient
a&b) (1 + p/100)k - (1 + p/100)j = 2440
(1 + p/100) (k-j) = 2440
(1 + p/100) (2000) = 2440
(1 + p/100) = 1.22
p=22
Sufficient
