Kaplan book is wrong when it said that negation of the assumption makes arguement fall apart(destroy arguement)
this is not neccessary
It is only neccessary that negation of the assumption weakens arguement. weakening means 1, make auguement more dounbting or 2, destroy the arguement.
this is important point because we need negation test to find correct answer when both remaining answer are supporting conclusion.
Princeton Review book also wrong when it said that asssumtion must support conclution. this is not enough. to be an assumption, an answer choice need satisfy both followings
1. support conclusion
2. negation of the choice WEAKEN(not neccessary destroy) conclusion
friends, pls caution
