Hello everyone! I am currently a senior in college at a small, private institution in Northeast Texas, graduating this semester with a degree in hospitality and tourism administration. It has been my DREAM FOREVER to attend Cornell (for either a MBA or Hotel School)! I have a cumulative GPA of 3.5, but with that a few ugly grades early on in my transcript that I feel may haunt me (#Unfocused Freshman). I have challenged the GMAT and managed a score of 650 after extensive study. I think the best part of my profile would be the 10.5 years of work experience I have between two major corporations at the middle-manager level (Does this really matter?). Could anyone tell me where I really need to focus before I submit my application? I am applying for the spring semester of 2013.
