Hi Stacy,
I hope that you are doing great. I am planning to go for my 2nd MBA - and I am trying to understand the colleges that I can potentially get an admit from

EDUCATION
10th Grade,2001: 84%
12th Grade: 76%

Undergraduate (Telecommunication Engineering from a 'lesser' known college in India),2005: 69%
MBA (NMIMS, Top 15 college in India), 2009: 3.04/4

WORK EXPERIENCE
I am a marketing analytics specialist and for the past 5 years, I have been working in this domain. I have worked in renowned Indian and US based companies, and I have good recommendations.

OTHER DETAILS:
*I was working towards starting-up my tech venture in 2011-2012. Since, I was not financially independent back end, I was working part time on that idea. We successfully built a proof of concept but were not able to monetize our creation

* avid guitarist and trekker

WHY 2ND MBA:
I am keen on wanting to start up once again and I am looking for a great environment and peer group to draw inspiration from.
India is still a 'developing' ecosystem as far as IP (Intellectual Property) clauses of tech products are concerned

ADVICE I SEEK:
(thanks for reading this far)
I am trying to understand that with my kind of a profile, what is the kind of business schools that I hope to get admission in? I understand that this might be a highly subjective question, but I am looking to study in the Top 15 schools only. Please let me know ideal GMAT score for securing an admit.

PS: I have not taken GMAT. However, I am confident that I'll be able to get a good score if I work towards it.

Thank you so much.
R

Hi veramaz,

Thanks for your post. About your candidacy, I recommend you read this case study of a candidate who was accepted into a top program for his 2nd MBA: https://www.stacyblackman.com/2011/08/25 ... econd-mba/

For your GMAT score, top MBA programs like to see a score of at least a 700.
