I know this is ridiculous post, but I just finished my TOEFL, exam was pretty easy.
I was pissed by the invigilators, they were very disturbing, talking on the phone,,,chatting around,,,
no lighting backup at center except UPS for PC backup,,sometimes i had to use the monitor's light for taking notes!!!,

anyways I think i made up for some early damage by the fools during my speaking and writing, should score over a 100,,,probably arnd 110 if they understand my heavy vocab in writing :P

My mistake-> i should not have taken the centre in my small town, i screwed up gmat earlier due to a bad test centre here.

Advice->Taker toefl date after gmat, this way u dnt need to prep for reading. Always choose ur test centre with discretion.

Just go through the formats and question types on BTG or OG. and practice speaking and listening from utube

i also heard that not many ppl take the test in small towns which obviously is a good thing.


less ppl taking the test = less noise
Im planning to take in a month.wht d u suggest.

small town test centers especially in this season (R3) is good as u have very little probability of disturbances from fellow takers as u are probably gonna be the lone test taker. in my case it was bad as the test center was also some local school's computer center, so lotsa disturbance, if u are a decent English writer and speaker(have 2-3 yrs work ex or interacting wit clients) then the speaking and writing sections u will score full points in all. The RC is is very easy but irritating. I got 5 passages spanning a 100 minutes, i know difficulty is not comparable to gmat but who on earth does reading for 100 mins on the trot !!
i think thats really ridiculous. also on the listening section u gotta be sharp, u have to concentrate a lot. speaking as i already said is crap, go through my post here for speaking section break up, if u can score 5.5 on AWA gmat then writing is also a piece of cake on the toefl. u should score 110 with decent natural english skills

Did you take extra on listening part or reading part? I had extra on listening
I wonder did you have lecture about "History of Rome" on listening?

wrote quite a lot,,,about 100 words extra in both,,

finished 2nd writing in 15 mins and left test center,,had a flight to goa :P,was bugged,,will get my score this week i think..
