The Middle 80% GMAT Range: From 650 to 760

I'm guessing this means that only 10% scored lower than 650 and only 10% scored higher than 760?

What other knowledge can I take away from this statistic??

If the mean is 709, I can probably infer that the scores in the bottom 10% were slightly closer to 650 than the top 10% were closer to 760.

I think you mean middle 25% to 75% range. this means the score range for middle 50 percent of applicants.

75th percentile being higher end to 25th percentile being lower end.
