Option A is wrong because of the wrong usage of the modifier "not normally found in the organ in which the tumor appears". Here the modifier the modifying "bone", but it is not the intended meaning. It should modify "tissues".

Option B and C are wrong because of "like". We are not making any comparison here. So "like" is wrong.

Option D states that composition is not found in organ, but it should be "tissues" that are not found in the organ.

So option E is the correct answer.

Really tough question.
I trim it down to A or E but I don't know much difference between "because" and "in that".

Hence i googled and got very powerful explanation by Mr Ron of ManhattanGMAT.

"because" signifies an actual cause-effect relationship.
if the latter thing didn't actually cause the former thing, then you can't use the word "because".
--

now we can apply this in this problem , in this problem there is no cause and effect relationship HOW ?

in this "tissues such as tooth and bone" are actual difference , they does not cause the difference so we must use "in that".

I hope it may help..

"because" is an adverbial modifier, so it should modify a verb. In option A, the use of "because" is modifying "why tissues are unusual forms of cancer" instead of modifying any verb or action.

So because is wrong.

Let discuss A & E

A - IMO usage of BECAUSE is correct. The sentence is trying to say that "Because T composed of XXX, T are unusal...."

Important to note that Because is used here not to show casuality, rather to present a reason (just like Since). For example, Since I love you, let's get married" means the same thing as "Because I love you, let's get married (source:https://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/be ... ce-as.aspx).

OK, what is the issue with A - its the use of modifier 'not normally found in the organ in which the tumor appears'. IMO we can't say what this phrase modifies. Does it modifies bone or tissue or something else. Since FOUND is a past parti and appears without any comma, IMO its nonsensically modifies the closest noun BONE. Therefore I drop A because I am not sure what the phrase modifies.

E - IN THAT is used as SINCE/FOR and it has a subject TISSUES that phrase "not normally found in the organ in which the tumor appears" very clearly modifies.

B & C wrong for such as VS like usage
