Is x an odd integer?

(1) Integer 2x is a multiple of 5.
(2) Integer 2x is an odd multiple of 5.

statement 1 ) 2x is multiple of 5 now 2x can be 10 , 20 , 30 ... so basically x can be 5 ( odd) , 10 ( even)
So statement 1 alone cannot solve the problem

Statement 2) Integer 2x is an odd multiple of 5.... that is never possible as 2x will always be even
and odd multiple of 5 will always be odd .. So the statement seems wrong

So We can say that problem cannot not be solved by taking both statement together So answer should be (E)

The question stem did never say that x is an integer, hence in statement (2), x can be 15/2 so that 2x is an integer which is also an odd multiple of 5. Hence, NO, x is NOT even an integer, leave alone the EVEN/ODD titles for it. Sufficient
