Hello,

Can you please assist with this:

P is a point on side AD of rectangle ABCD. If AB = 6 and BD = 10. What is
the probability that PB is less than or equal to sq. root (45) ?

(A) 0.2
(B) 0.375
(C) 0.5
(D) 0.66
(E) it cannot be determined from the
information given.

Sri, another really good question. Where are these questions from?

We know that P is on AD, so the probability that length PB <= root(45) must equal the section of AD for which this holds true divided by the entire length of AD.
