14. Several senior officials spoke to the press on condition name that they not be named in the story.
(A) that they not be named
(B) that their names will not be used
(C) that their names are not used
(D) of not being named
(E) they will not be named

IMO: B bec at the time of interview, the condition will be a future tense for the interviewees.

Condition that is subjunctive

I agree with Shilpa's explanation. It should be A.

A: THAT should be used and simple past tense NAMED should be used.

C seems correct to me.

Option A: "they not be named" sounds akward to me. More over "used" is also simple past.
