I need a quick doze of CR basics - problem solving strategies etc. I don't have PowerScore which is highly recommended and don't think I can get it fast enough (only option is buying it online, I think). Is there any other book or online resource that I can access immediately?
Appreciate all responses!
Thanks!
Hi bmehra,
Use the
GMATFix Solutions Engine; it has 150 CR questions all from GMATPrep with detailed lessons and explanations from each. It allows you to practice by specific topic and track your progress. So for example, you could practice just "ID the Assumption" on one day, and just "Strengthen" on another. It allows you to set specific difficulty levels at which you seek to practice. So if your target verbal score is in the 70th percentile, you would set difficulty='600-700' or less in your practice. It allows you to generate and take timed drills with the question types you desire, something a book will not offer.
It will be available to you immediately. Finally, and best of all,
there is an evaluation license that lasts 2 weeks, so you can do all the things above without even buying the product (since your test is in 2 weeks)
You're welcome
