Day 45 today, test in 3 weeks. What should I do?

I just finished taking the GMATPrep Exam # 2 and my results are shown below. I've scheduled my test for Feb. 8 and my goal is a score of 700. Am I aiming too high or is it possible in this timeframe? I definitely plan to re-write the test in March but I thought I'd hear some feedback and get others' thoughts on this matter. If it matters, I started my prep on Dec. 4.

GMATPrep Exam 1 --> 560 (40Q, 27V) Dec. 6
GMATPrep Exam 2 --> 630 (46Q, 31V) Jan. 18

I basically left the last 4 questions blank on the verbal which makes me think I need a lot more practice.

Three weeks is still a fair bit of time.

You will be taking several practice tests over the next 2 weeks. I typically suggest that students achieve their target score on at least 2 practices tests before they take the official test. So, if you get to the point where there's a week remaining and you haven't achieved you target score at least twice, you should consider rescheduling.

That said, if you don't mind spending the $250 test fee, you might consider taking the test on Feb 8 regardless of your practice test scores. I think many students benefit from the experience.

Regarding time management: What strategy are you using? I suggest that you use a Milestone Chart to keep you on track. This is covered in our free GMAT time management video at https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gener ... es?id=1244

Thanks for the link to the time management video, it was a real eye opener.

I honestly didn't have much of a time management strategy during the tests and left all my guessing to the end which I now know is just hopeless. I really underestimated the importance of having a strategy for tracking time in the test.

Well I took the Veritas Prep Free Practice test today and was pleasantly surprised at how much time management helped. Thanks a million Brent.

Can anyone comment on how the Veritas Prep Free Practice test compares to the two GMAT Prep tests? Are they comparable? If yes, then I'm thinking of buying the 5 exam pack on the Veritas website because it comes with a a few tools concerning pacing, performance on different types of questions, etc. My scores:

Hey.

I personally used Veritasprep and found the tests very close to the acutal GMAT. But, I would buy the official GMATPrep Test pack before I invest in Veritasprep.
