I get this kind of question a lot, so I've written up a self-study guide that you might find helpful. On my website (GMATFix), select "Resources -> Documents & Links" from the main menu. The self-study instructions will be at the top left of the page.

Hi ramvis009,
The GMAT requires a combination of knowledge (math rules, formulas, etc.), organization skills and tactical skills (pattern matching, etc.). When you say that you want to "learn concepts first" is there a specific area that you're referring to?
