How to start GMAT QUANT preparation

Please suggest good books to start quant. Intent is to learn concepts first thoroughly and then practise fine tuning concepts as and when needed.

Hi ramvis009,

The GMAT requires a combination of knowledge (math rules, formulas, etc.), organization skills and tactical skills (pattern matching, etc.). When you say that you want to "learn concepts first" is there a specific area that you're referring to?
