I've done gmat two times:
12 of May i did 540 (q48 v17 )
12 of October i did 610 (q47 v27)
I will have next and lust attempt in the end of December, and i still hope to get 700+ scoring (q48 v36) or (q49 v35).
before lust attempt in different tests i did in average 650-720. But just before exam i had hard business trip therefore i was not in the best condition during exam
One week ago i returned to studying, and in tree prep tests did V36, V30 and V34.(in these tests i did only verbal sections)
In next 1.5 month i am going to prepare to ONLY verbal part of exam, and do quantitative one only doing prep exam. But one week before exam i plan to close verbal books and concentrate only in math section, solving all Beat the Gmat math questions, and resolving OG, Kaplan800 and Math Official review.
So my questions:
1. Is it right way or it is better to prepare to both section at the same time?
2. Will my verbal score leave constant if i will not study before exam during one week at all?
3. In my lust attempt I did bad in verbal section partly because i sped a lot of time to RC passage, and after that did not have time to properly answer to CR questions ( I always spend to them a lot of time) And lust ~10 questions i guessed... RC is my weakest side. In average i do correctly 80-90%SC, 60-70% CR but only 50% RC. Therefore is it will be good strategy for me not read one of passages in the middle of text at all, saving time? Is it possible to gain v35-36 using this strategy?
