Hello,

I am considering using an application consulting service and after looking at the prices and options of a few companies, MBA House seems to be the most affordable option for me. Unlimited GMAT tutoring is offered in the package deal I'm interested in which makes this firm more attractive to me. I am trying to do GMAT study on my own, but I'm not very disciplined and will probably need the extra push.

Has anyone here used their services? In NY?

Thanks!

Hi there,

I am a current student at MBA House for both GMAT course and admissions consulting. I decided to give MBA House a go because I got burnt with another test prep (one of the famous ones!!) before, and I knew that what is generally offered out there would not be enough for me.
I have been studying @ MBA House for 4 months now, and they are 100% as advertised. There I not only take classes with great teachers who really know their stuff, but whenever I have trouble with my homework, I can schedule a private tutoring session to go over my doubts. This has really made a difference in my GMAT score so far, because I have been able to get rid of my study roadblocks as soon as they appeared.
And as far as Admissions consulting, I have a whole team working with me. I like the fact that they helped me pick the schools to apply according to my non traditional background and goals. I also for the first time know that there is a whole plan in place for my MBA candidacy - its not like I am only covering a part of it. Lastly, the place itself is pretty awesome, and everyone is so friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend that you check it out!!!!

Hi,

I contracted MBA for GMAT prep and admissions consulting for 5 schools. This was probably one of the biggest mistakes I have made in my life and definitely a complete waste of money. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM!!!

GMAT Course:
I was really concerned with my Math and had been promised one-on-one sessions with a tutor. However, after one session, I was unable to schedule more. MBA House's online scheduling system always said that my tutor was not available for online sessions and my attempts to email the tutor were fruitless and I never received an answer.
I was drawn to MBA House's real-life test environment and the ability to do practice tests there. I scheduled a practice test on a Saturday for 9am. I showed up to MBA House at 8:50 to find the school locked and had to wait for over an hour for someone. Furthermore, when in my first intro session, I specifically told MBA House that I had already done the Manhattan GMAT tests and would need access to other material. Imagine my frustration when after waiting for an hour, sending multiple emails in advance I sit down to take the practice test and ONLY have Manhattan material available.
Obviously, mistakes and miscommunications happen, so I initially gave MBA House the benefit of the doubt. Yet, they showed a complete lack of competence and interest for my GMAT needs. After this test with only Manhattan material, I sent more emails and called letting the administration know that I would be taking another test in 2 weeks and would need other materials. Finally on the Saturday of the my scheduled practice, I find out that they STILL didn't have other material, so instead of taking a practice test I spent my morning calling and calling, emailing and emailing, and finally got through and only at 5pm did they send me new material.

Applications Assistance:
I applied second round, hence needed my essays to be reviewed in December, however, my consultant was 100% not available and out of the country the entire month. I ended up having to talk to someone who was new to the company and no idea of my background.

This review is false. MBA House operated in New York from 2011 to 2014 at Greene Street, SoHo. We resumed operations in the U.S. in 2019 at Brickell City Center in Miami and in 2021 at 154 West 14th Street in New York.

We were not operating in 2016, so this review cannot be about our company. Additionally, there are discrepancies:

- We have never used Manhattan GMAT materials; we only use official materials.
- We did not operate on Saturdays or administer diagnostic tests on our premises.
- Our consultant was not traveling out of the country as mentioned, because we were not operating at that time.

This is the only negative and false review we have received in our years of operation across South America, the USA, and Europe.

Anyone making these claims could not have been our client. We have a 100% success rate in MBA admissions for our students and have secured over $90 million in scholarships.

In summary, we were not operating in the USA in 2016, making this review false.

Thank you for your attention.

Totally understand that feeling — self-studying for the GMAT can be hard to stay motivated. If MBA House really does offer unlimited test prep, it might be worth considering.
