Goal is 600+

I would like to take the GMAT in mid September, so I roughly have about 2 1/2 months to study starting end of this month. I was reading the different strategies and information from the recommended GMAT books. Just curious if these books are enough for study and work on obtaining a 575-625 range.

1.) Princeton Review's Cracking the GMAT with DVD
2.) Official Guide for Verbal Review, 12th edition
3.) Official Guide for Quantitative Review, 12th edition
4.) Official Guide for GMAT Review, 12th edition

just curious if these books would be enough to focus on the next 2 1/2 months.

Definately enough material to concentrate yourself for the next two months and a half. However, Princeton Review will not be enough to explain you all the questions you will get stock on. I would get more book or two for a variaty, to get multiple angle on the same question you will get stuck with.

I guess I can work hard on all four books and if I have enough time, I can get additional material. I am taking the GMAT so I can enroll at Sac State's MS Accountancy. They require a min score of 500, but depending on how to do, I might apply to other local schools.

I actually think if you're only targeting a 600 then you should study like this. Don't buy any new books. What I would do, is just mark the areas you need help in and google them. I think this is so simple yet most people don't do it. Try this before you buy another book.

What I want to say is that what you did till now is totally wrong.You are targeting a 600+ score and you have only 2 1/2 months left,you will find it difficult to achieve your goal as time goes by.The more you prepared ,the more you feel boring .Only by setting a incredible goal you may realize your dream.600+?Why not 800?If you win ,that's cool ,if you lose ,so what,that will be much better than 600+.

The words above is my sincere advices,they are also the suggestions the winners gave to me.

I'd suggest on buying MGMAT books esp SC guide
And powerscore bible for CR

I'd highly recommend these two books . Let me know howz the prep status going ?

It is a sincere request that you read the original post before replying.

I know you genuinely want to help the guy but by now he would have already given the test. lol :)
The post was made in JUNE when he had 2 1/2 months to prepare.
Anyways,what you can do is post ur advice in a "new thread" where you can give the link of this thread so that people can compare the 4 books listed by "and the advice of the community members on it.
That would be a better idea.What-say??

yeah bhumika what's the use of helping him now when he would have given his test way earlier may be in august or september...he might have solved all the books listed by him and everything what he could have done...
even he might have scored more than 700 and might have applied in some uni..
I think harsh suggested well ..start a new thread so that other people can get help from this..
