Your work seems completely correct to me- the answer should be 19. Where is the question from?

It's from a rather old Princeton GMAT Diagnostic CD.
Must be their mistake.

The answer is indeed 19. I used the distance method to find out the answer.

Even then I got x= -5 or 19, x cannot be -5 since the point is in first quadrant, therefore 19 is the answer.
